Hadleigh Hares could not function without its coaches and we are lucky enough to have ten qualified coaches (with two more currently taking studying for their Athletics Level 1 award). All coaches are dedicated volunteers that devote a significant proportion of their spare time on the Hadleigh Hares. Be nice to your coaches!

Training

The Hares pride themselves on an active coach training philosophy. At present several of our members are working towards coaching awards as follows.

  • Trudi Avis, Brian Airlie and Jackie Kirk completed Athletics Level 2 in September - congratulations
  • Sarah Grimsey, Barbara Sanders and Gale Pryor passed their Athletics Level 1 in November - congratulations to them too
  • Carol Noakes will be undetaking her Level 1 Triathlon in April

If you are interested in becoming an athletics or triathlon coach please contact Clive Pinnion (for athletics) or Doug Grimwade (for triathlon). A Triathlon or Athletics Level 1 coaching course will take a weekend to complete and is normally fully funded by the club.
