Hadleigh Hares would like to congratulate everyone who took part in the Hadleigh 10 and the Junior 2km Fun Run - well done to you all. Despite a bright start to the day the weather eventually let us down and the heavens opened. Despite this, three hundred and twenty nine athletes completed the 10 mile course and 53 completed the Junior Fun Run. Chris Sellens was the first man home in the 10 in a magnificent time of 55:03 and Natasha Belsom, with her second Hadleigh 10 victory in three years, was the first female in an excellent time of 01:05:09.

Please accept our sincere apologies for messing up the marshalls on the second water stop. This was unforgivable and we hope it did not affect the race too badly. No excuses - we simply failed to organise our marshalls quite as well as we have done in previous years. We shall ensure that it does not happen again in future races.

We would like to thank everyone who helped to make the race a success this year. Thank you to all the marshalls, the race referee, the race results service, our race photographer, the masseurs, Hadleigh United Football Club and all the other unsung heros who put an incredible amount of time and effort into organising the race. Thank you all and we hope to see you again next year.
